An outdoor national handball tournament will take place at the coming weekend, on 11-12 June, at 4 Międzyparkowa Street. The competitors will be teams made up of girls from the following age groups: 1998 and younger and 1997 and younger. The event will also include a picnic.
The venue is also worth discussing. The idea that handball can be played on grass comes from Germany. It was introduced in the 1920s as an alternative to the well-known indoor version of handball. Since then it has become very popular throughout Western Europe. For instance, an Italian competition Interamnia World Cup is considered an unofficial world championship.
